DoLE, LGUs hold job fairs in Surigao

Along with licensed private recruitment agencies, the mega jobs fair is fully supported by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte headed by Gov. Robert Ace Barbers and Surigao del Sur Gov. Vicente Pimentel and local officials of Lanuza town, the DoLE added.
The mega jobs fair is offered to new graduates, professionals and skilled workers.
In a related development, students and graduates, including other jobseekers, trooped and flocked to the compound of the AMA Computer Learning Center (ACLC) College in this city last week in search for jobs commensurate to their respective qualifications, experiences and certification credentials.
This developed after the Technical Schools of Butuan City and Agusan del Norte (TSOBAN) in cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and DoLE trail blazed the holding of such job search mechanism – dubbed Jobs Bridging and Blue Desk Program – in order to reach out to the growing number of Filipino individuals seeking jobs either for domestic or international.

I really envy his fervor to serve that I salute him in his passing lying beneath and enveloped by the warmth and the emblem of our national sovereignty. Federico “Lily” C. Blasco (former Barangay Captain of Gamut) passed away on 10 December 2009 at Adela Serra Ty Memorial Medical Center. His remains lie in state at his residence in Gamut, Tago, Surigao del Sur.
